What is a plate?

A plate is a short, unique string held by one account. Its Public Record is the permanent proof of the registration, while the public profile is the living context around it — where you decide what to share.

What comes with a claimed plate?

Every claimed plate gets a public profile linked to it. Add links, interests, work, projects, and other details, then keep that context up to date as your identity develops.

Can I change my public profile?

Yes. The plate and its Issued ID stay the same, while the profile content can evolve as your work, interests, and public presence change.

Is a plate a domain name?

No. A plate does not replace a domain or resolve in DNS. It points to a Public Record that anyone can view, verify, and use as the public home for that plate.

Can I put my plate on another website?

Yes. Your plate page gives you ready-made embed snippets for a plate, badge, inline record, or card, so the same record can appear wherever you need it.
